For thousands of years, Historically, the gold-to-silver ratio has been 15. It took 15 silver (troy) ounces to buy 1 oz of gold. Today, it takes about 90. It is suspected that this ratio will return. In order for that to happen, you need to lower the price of gold, or raise the price of silver. I personally believe that the constant inflation can only push prices up (specifically silver).
